Regenerative Agriculture
Approaches that promote a fair transition to an equitable future for people and nature.

Why it matters
Today, 828 million people are hungry, around 10% of the world's population. Agriculture drives nearly 90% of global deforestation and around 12% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Current farming systems are not delivering for people or the planet.
Our mission is to help catalyse a transition to regenerative agriculture – so that farming restores nature, improves farmer livelihoods and resilience, and upholds human dignity while feeding a growing population.
What we do
We collaborate with organisations that work with public institutions to repurpose policies and incentives toward regenerative agriculture.
We work with local partners and tailor our approach to each geography, enabling small-scale farmers to take the lead in shaping fair and inclusive pathways.
Where we work
We work with partners to:
- Brazil: Improve access to public credit and technical support for small-scale farmers transitioning to regenerative practices.
- Democratic Republic of Congo: Introduce, revise, and implement policies that prevent deforestation and forest degradation while improving livelihoods for small-scale farmers and local communities.
- Europe: Advance policies that make sustainable, inclusive agriculture the norm – through better incentives, standards, and procurement.
- Kenya: Strengthen implementation of the national strategy to accelerate the shift to sustainable agricultural systems – linking national policy to county delivery.
